Nightstick Debuts FORGE® II: High Candela Compact Fire Helmet Light

[Wylie, TX] — Nightstick, a leading innovator in professional LED lighting, announces the release of FORGE® II (NSP-4638B), its most compact fire helmet light to date. Built on the proven performance of the original FORGE®, FORGE® II delivers high candela output in a slimmer, snag-free profile.

The FORGE® II produces 350 lumens and 7,360 candela of piercing output from a rugged, low-profile body that’s just 2.36 inches long and weighs only 3.4 ounces. Its small form factor minimizes bulk and interference, whether mounted above or below the brim, while delivering visibility through smoke and steam up to 172 meters away.

Designed to fit MSA Cairns® 1010/1044 and countless other traditional fire helmets, the FORGE® II also mounts securely to full-brim hard hats commonly used in wildland firefighting applications, offering adaptable utility across fire service roles and operational needs.

A rear-facing green “Follow Me” LED enhances crew tracking in low-visibility environments. The glove-friendly tail switch toggles between high and low brightness modes, while a side-to-side swivel enables quick beam aiming without adjusting gear.

Engineered with aircraft-grade aluminum and a hard-anodized finish for high-heat and impact durability, the FORGE® II is IP67 rated for full waterproof and dustproof protection and is drop-tested from 2 meters. It meets NFPA 1971-8.6 (2018) helmet lighting standards and comes ready with a CR123 battery. Each light is backed by Nightstick’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
