Bought it to carry on my belt at work. My old surefire has taken quite a beating after years of Law Enforcement use. I found this and began doing a little research. Polymer light body and head, but Aluminum switch housing. 180 lumens, but good reflector system. Gives 100 plus yards of usable light. Found a video where it was placed under shotgun recoil for several hundred rounds and then it was shot with a shotgun. Light survived, but batteries didn't. Tough little thing. I was convinced and bought this one. No issues so far. Lifetime warranty, and at this point not expecting to have to use it.
