It's great to be able to use it on either my helmet or my hard hat. Its lighting is very satisfying. Being lightweight is also an advantage.

I've now used this light in 2 burn day classes, and several times in search/rescue classes in machine-produced fog, and it works great. It's withstood the heat from burn days. I love that it takes "regular" batteries and not specialty ones. I also like that it can easily be adjusted to put light where you want it, and not just straight ahead where you are looking. The ON/OFF button can be difficult sometimes, particularly when wearing structure gloves, due to its small size and location on the butt of the light. I like the location, just wish it was larger or protruded more.

This light is great for the price. It has enough lumens to see whatever you need to see. And the fact it uses AAA batteries makes it inexpensive to use and replace batteries.
