This 3 AA flashlight is ETLus and MSHA listed Intrinsically Safe Permissible. It uses an LED rated at 160 lumens that works in conjunction with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a usable flashlight beam rated at 180 meters. The single body switch provides momentary or constant-on functionality. Power comes from 3 AA (not included).

I work on LPG tankers and the use of intrinsically safe flashlights is compulsory. Although we are supplied with intrinsically safe flashlights on board these ships, I've always wanted one with a powerful and concentrated beam and the nightstick XPP-5420B is perfect for my use.
Water proof, shock proof, well engineered and very useful.
