This is a great flashlight! It is solid, well built, and easy to find. I work in residential HVAC and I am constantly using flashlights during the course of my day in attics, basements, and sometimes, even outside. I kept using cheap flashlights that I only paid $5-$15 for. After going through three flashlights in a month, I was getting really frustrated. One of my coworkers recommended Nightstick to me. His flashlight was the intrinsically safe version. I bought this one due to the magnets. Man, was it a good purchase! The flashlight has held up to being dropped, banged around (quite extensively as it hangs off of my pocket), kicked, tossed, and even rained on. Everything on the ratings card is correct!I love the belt clip on this thing. If I could hang every tool I own off of me feasibly, I would. I hang the flashlight off of my right hip pocket most of the time. The clip is strong, robust, and solid. The clip takes most of the abuse as it is banged around clipped onto my pocket. I have had it for a month and a half now, and I have not noticed any stress marks or cracks. I have also used the clip to hang it off of my shirt in conjunction with the flood light. The magnets. The magnets are awesome! If there is metal nearby that I can stick my flashlight to, I will. The magnets are strong. I can pick up my keys with the magnet. My key ring weighs about 1/2 a pound. The magnets are more than ample enough to hold the weight of the flashlight. They are strong, easily hold the flashlight up even when only half of the magnet is being used, and they stay in their place on the flashlight. I have owned other flashlights that have had the magnets come out of their place, but not so with these! The brightness is another big thing. I end up using the flood light for most of my work because the focused beam on contactors that close ends up washing out what I am trying to see. I have used the flood light attached to my shirt and attached to steel rafters and it casts a great flood that is very wide. The flood is designed for close viewing, roughly 6 ft away tops. The focused beam I have used in commercial jobs where I am trying to find units above drop ceilings and I am looking sometimes hundreds of feet. So far, in a dark area, I have seen the spot of the light up to 250 ft.The only downside to this flashlight is the battery life. You only get about 8-9 hours on a set of batteries. However, that is better than the Surefire light I was going to buy that was only 65 lumens, lasted 1.5 hours and used the more expensive CR123a batteries!Overall, this is an awesome flashlight. It is well-built, strong, bright, and economically priced. If this one ever breaks, I'll buy another one in a heartbeat!
