I purchase this in 2013 when it only came with the 12v charger, but no car charger. Newer versions come with both. As others have said, the light is bright though the leds on the butt of the light have always been useless to me. This isn't the most important part though. This light has been driven over, fallen from ladders, and been left on for over 24 hours in a ceiling more than once. I used it on the under side of my vehicle one time, attaching it to the frame with the top magnet. Forgot about it and drove to a shop where it finally fell off when the tech was moving my vehicle, and it had gotten driven over. Popped the case back together and used some tape where the screws weren't working any more, good as 'new'. The light switch started to give me fits at least a good 5 years after I bought it. I send the manufacture a request to buy a new switch, received an email that I would have it in a week or so. They didn't ask for any compensation. The switch was very easy to change out. Lights don't turn off when it looses power but rather just keep getting dimmer. When the batteries are newer you can leave it on for a very long time and the light will just keep getting dimmer till there just isn't enough juice. This of course isn't good for it, but at least if you leave it somewhere you can more easily find it. I'm at 8 years ownership of this light. Only in the last year has the LEDs gotten weaker, and I think the batteries are getting close to the end of their lives since it doesn't hold a charge nearly as long. Might just replace the batteries to see if that fixes the issue before I give up. Batteries are only replaceable if you know what you are doing. More than likely though I see another one in my near future.
